The original house, designed by William Lumpkins had been remodeled several times over the years. Although the entire house was gutted, some of the original Lumpkins features were left intact to juxtapose with the new, modern renovation. The entire interior of the house was renovated, including kitchen, bathrooms, office, lighting and all living spaces. Hard troweled plaster walls and poured concrete floors were added in addition to refinishing the existing wood and brick floors. In collaboration with Trey Jordan Architecture.
